- Manage Copilot enablement and usage controls, including feature rollout and environment-level configurations.
- Oversee Copilot credit consumption, including:
- Monitoring usage trends across environments and business units
- Allocating credits appropriately
- Identifying optimization opportunities and preventing overconsumption
- Providing reporting and forecasts for AI-related costs
- Manage AI Builder lifecycle, including model deployment, usage, and cost efficiency.
2) Governance, Risk, Compliance & AI Controls
- Own governance for Power Platform and Power BI, including policies, standards, security controls, and lifecycle management.
- Manage key controls such as environment strategy, DLP policies, access management, and ALM practices.
- Govern Power BI workspaces, datasets, and sharing models, ensuring secure and compliant data usage.
- Provide oversight of platform inventory, risk classification, and promotion of solutions to production.
- Partner with Enterprise AI Governance teams to align controls for Copilot and AI Builder, including responsible use, data protection, and compliance.
- Support monitoring and reporting of platform compliance and AI usage, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies and audit requirements.
3) Platform Enablement, Citizen Development & Community Leadership
- Lead the Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE) / Citizen Development program, including:
- Community engagement (champion network, maker community, forums)
- Governance-aware enablement programs
- Office hours, training sessions, and knowledge sharing
- Establish a scalable citizen development model, including:
- Tiered app classification (personal, team, enterprise)
- Clear pathways for solution promotion and production readiness
- Provide guidance and guardrails to enable safe use of:
- Copilot in development
- AI Builder in workflows and applications
- Develop reusable assets:
- Templates, starter kits, patterns, and reference architectures
- Promote a “guardrails, not gates” approach balancing innovation and control.
4) Reporting, Metrics & AI Insights
- Track and report on Power Platform and Power BI usage, including apps, flows, environments, workspaces, and datasets.
- Monitor and optimize Copilot and AI Builder credit consumption, including usage trends, allocation, and cost efficiency.
- Provide visibility into platform adoption, governance compliance, and solution maturity (e.g., unmanaged vs. production-grade assets).
- Deliver reporting on Power BI tenant health, including dataset refresh reliability, workspace usage, and access controls.
- Produce regular insights on AI-enabled usage (Copilot, AI Builder) to support cost management, risk oversight, and value realization.
- Support executive and audit reporting with clear metrics on platform performance, AI usage, and compliance posture.
Requirements
