Dasro is looking for a Security Specialist – Security Architect for one of its clients in Regina, SK

Location: Regina, Saskatchewan (Onsite)

Contract Duration: November 30, 2026 – December 31, 2027

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate Security Specialist – Security Architect to provide security architecture expertise and operational guidance within an Intelligent Networks & Infrastructure environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with Operations teams to identify and address infrastructure security gaps, assess and prioritize security opportunities based on existing controls, security standards, and operational risks, and provide architectural guidance on proposed solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of infrastructure technologies and security solution architecture, particularly across Cisco, Azure, networking, storage, data centres, and server environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture expertise and operational support to address identified infrastructure security gaps.
• Assess existing security controls, standards, and operational risks to identify and prioritize security improvements.
• Provide security architecture guidance and recommendations on infrastructure solutions developed by Operations.
• Develop detailed security solution designs covering system integration, data flows, security measures, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications for infrastructure solutions, including hardware, software, and network configurations.
• Provide technical advice, consultation, and guidance throughout discovery, conceptual design, and core infrastructure planning activities.
• Support the development of secure infrastructure architectures aligned with operational requirements.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

• Intermediate-level experience in security architecture and security solution design.
• Demonstrated experience with projects and operational support involving:
• Cisco technologies and solutions.
• Microsoft Azure.
• Network infrastructure.
• Storage solutions.
• Data centre infrastructure.
• Server infrastructure and related products.
• Experience applying security architecture principles to infrastructure solutions, rather than focusing solely on infrastructure administration.
• Ability to assess security gaps, existing controls, technical standards, and operational risks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hands-on operational administration experience in infrastructure environments.
• Experience with server, storage, backup, and network administration.
• Experience supporting infrastructure discovery, conceptual solution design, and core infrastructure planning.

Key Deliverables

The successful consultant will be responsible for producing:

1. Detailed Solution Design (DSD): Comprehensive solution architecture documentation covering system integration, data flows, security measures, and compliance requirements.
