- Drive architecture simplification and reduction of resilience-related technical debt across the technology portfolio.
Strategic Partnership & Governance
- Operate in close partnership with the Enterprise Security Architecture team to jointly advance cyber resilience, cyber recovery, and secure recovery capabilities.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to align resilience capabilities with enterprise technology strategies, standards, and target-state architectures.
- Partner with Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and Operations teams to embed resilience requirements into technology platforms and services.
- Support technology governance, architecture reviews, investment planning, and resilience maturity improvement initiatives.
- Provide strategic architectural guidance regarding resilience risks, modernization opportunities, and investment priorities
Success Measures
- Increased adoption of resilience-by-design architecture standards across technology portfolios.
- Improved dependency visibility, service mapping coverage, and architectural alignment of critical business services.
- Increased automation of recovery processes and reduction of manual recovery effort.
- Improved resilience maturity, recoverability, and audit readiness.
- Reduced resilience-related technology risk and technical debt.
- Strong alignment between Technology Resilience, Enterprise Security Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, and Engineering organizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in architecture, engineering, infrastructure, cloud, reliability engineering, or related technology disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Architecture, Portfolio Architecture, Solution Architecture, Platform Architecture, or Technology Strategy.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, Operational Resilience, High Availability, or Reliability Engineering.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, recovery automation, dependency mapping, observability, and operational resilience practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, service mapping, SRE, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and modern cloud operating models is considered an asset.
