POSITION DESCRIPTION
The UNIX Midrange Support provides for the day-to-day administration, management, and support of the UNIX environment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Education & Certifications
Computer Engineering / Computer Science degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Demonstrated record of continuous improvement
ITIL Certification (Foundation, Service Manager)
Midrange Server configuration and administration (Linux/AIX)
Desired Experience
SAN/NAS Storage experience (IBM SVC, NetApp)
Azure Linux host and storage experience
NetBackup experience

Responsibilities
Administer, manage, and support the UNIX environment on a day-to-day basis. Configure and administer midrange servers, including Linux and AIX systems.
Requirements
A degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience, is preferred, along with a demonstrated record of continuous improvement. ITIL certification and experience with Linux/AIX server administration are listed, while SAN/NAS storage, Azure Linux hosts and storage, and NetBackup experience are desired.
