About The Role

DS is seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist to join our dynamic digital team in Montréal. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration at our Head Office with remote work flexibility.

As a senior member of the team, you'll lead integrated digital strategies that grow audiences, mobilize supporters, drive donations and deliver measurable results for a diverse mix of political and advocacy organizations, and major NGOs. Working with the Media Lead, our research and analytics teams, you'll turn data into campaigns with both immediate impact and long-term growth.

You will be expected to:

Develop data-driven strategies aligned with client goals.
Lead and optimize campaigns across paid, social and owned channels.
Analyze performance data to refine strategies.
Tailor approaches to diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management & Strategy

Strategize, plan, and execute paid media campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, and YouTube for clients in various industries.
Optimize paid search, display, and social media campaigns to meet client objectives, drive conversions, and maximize ROI.
Conduct keyword research, analyze performance data, and refine strategies to improve results.
Manage budgets, produce client-facing reports, and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
Collaborate with internal teams (media buying, content and creative) to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns.
Provide weekly reports to clients, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic insights. Ensure the reports are accurate and reflective of performance.
Evaluate overall site engagement through Google Analytics 4 and ensure accurate tracking implementation using Google Tag Manager.
Make sure campaigns follow platform advertising policies and relevant regulations, including those for social issue and political ads.

Leadership & Innovation

Serve as a senior point of contact for clients and present strategy to their stakeholders.
Mentor strategists and review work to keep quality high.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance performance through testing, new tools, and emerging trends.
Maintain certifications (Google, Bing, Meta) and stay updated on the latest digital marketing advancements.

Candidate Profile

Experience: 4+ years in digital marketing or digital strategy, with a proven record of leading multi-channel campaigns.
Expertise: Advanced hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, Microsoft Bing, GA4 and GTM; experience with CRMs and email/SMS tools is an asset.
Agency Experience: Previous work with multiple clients and stakeholders is a strong asset.

Responsabilités clésGestion et stratégie de campagnes

Élaborer, planifier et exécuter des campagnes de médias payants sur des plateformes comme Meta, Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn et YouTube pour des clients de divers secteurs.
Optimiser les campagnes de recherche payante, d'affichage et de médias sociaux pour atteindre les objectifs des clients, générer des conversions et maximiser le rendement du capital investi (RCI).
Effectuer la recherche de mots-clés, analyser les données de performance et ajuster les stratégies pour améliorer les résultats.
Gérer les budgets, produire des rapports destinés aux clients et fournir des recommandations concrètes pour stimuler la croissance.
Collaborer avec les équipes internes (achat média, contenu et création) pour livrer des campagnes cohérentes et à fort impact.
Fournir des rapports hebdomadaires aux clients, en mettant en évidence les indicateurs clés de performance (ICP) et les constats stratégiques. S'assurer que les rapports sont exacts et reflètent fidèlement la performance.
Évaluer l'engagement global sur le site au moyen de Google Analytics 4 et assurer une implantation exacte du suivi avec Google Tag Manager.
Veiller au respect des politiques publicitaires des plateformes et des réglementations applicables, y compris pour les publicités à caractère social ou politique.
