Ensure the development and implementation of HSSE systems, policies, procedures and guidelines that meet and/or exceed all applicable laws, regulations and industry best practices.
Ensure that lessons learned are shared with all relevant persons involved.

Strong interpersonal skills with superior ability to work and engage with all levels, from the shop floor to the executive management.
Strong working knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental and security laws and standards.
Strong working knowledge of ISO 14001 Environment Management and ISO 45001 Safety Management systems and their successful implementation (considered an asset).
Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team and stakeholders on HSSE performance and challenges.
