Original job description

As a Business Administration Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects and activities that support the organization’s operations and growth. Depending on your profile, interests, and business needs, you may be assigned to different departments, including Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Information Technology, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, or Operations.

You will collaborate with various teams to gather, analyze, and structure information that supports decision-making, process optimization, and the execution of strategic projects. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience and a practical understanding of organizational challenges in a complex, dynamic, and rapidly growing environment.

Depending on the department and the nature of the assignment, you may be involved in:

Participating in the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes;

Gathering, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data to support operations and decision-making;

Contributing to the preparation of reports, dashboards, presentations, and other administrative deliverables;

Participating in the coordination and monitoring of projects, initiatives, or operational activities;

Supporting the preparation, organization, and follow-up of meetings, workshops, or working groups;

Drafting and maintaining various administrative documents, procedures, work guides, and reference materials;

Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and alignment of practices;

Conducting research, comparative analyses, and making recommendations to improve existing processes or tools;

Supporting transformation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives;

Participating in the identification of risks, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement;

Contributing to the implementation, deployment, or optimization of systems, tools, or business solutions;

Performing any other administrative or analytical tasks in support of the teams.

Qualifications

You are the ideal candidate if you:

Are currently enrolled in a university program in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field;

Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills;

Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and autonomy;

Have strong prioritization skills and can manage multiple assignments simultaneously;

Enjoy collaborating with different teams and working with a variety of stakeholders;

Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn;

Have strong written and verbal communication skills;

Are proficient with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;

Are adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Internship opportunities are available to students who are currently enrolled in an academic program. The work experience must meet the requirements of the student's program of study, and the internship must be recognized by the educational institution.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects, work alongside multidisciplinary teams, develop your professional skills, and gain valuable hands-on experience within one of Canada’s leading industrial organizations.
