Original job description

ob Description

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for perfection?

Would you rather work with your hands instead of behind a cash register or a desk?

Do you get satisfaction from before-and-after transformations?

If you said "YES!" to any of the above, we want to meet you!

The detail department at Scougall Motors is BUSY, which means we are looking for an Automotive Detail Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of both customer vehicles and dealership trade ins. We're looking for a driven, detail-obsessed, and hard-working Automotive Detailer who’s ready to shine. This is a full-time permanent position where you will work Monday - Friday and can earn between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour.

Why YOU BELONG at Scougall Motors:

Competitive compensation plan
Industry-leading health and dental benefits that include life and disability insurance, health and dental coverage and coverage towards massages, acupuncture, orthodontics and more so that you and your family are covered!
Employer-matching RRSP plan to help set you up for retirement.
We offer paid Flex Days in addition to paid vacation, so you don't have to waste precious vacation days if you are sick or need to go to an appointment
A stable, family-owned business that takes pride in being involved in the community!
Ongoing support from your leader to help you succeed and maximize your earning capacity.
Travel reward program so you can travel on us beginning at 5 years of employment.
Employee pricing discount program on vehicles, service, parts, and more.

What You'll Do:

Wash, wax, buff, and beautify vehicles inside and out
Vacuum, shampoo, and clean interiors until they sparkle
Use top-grade tools, chemicals, and techniques
Perform final inspections to ensure showroom-level perfection

What You Bring:

Experience in detailing, including polishing, is preferred
A passion for cars and making them look their best
An eye for detail and a commitment to quality
A valid driver’s license and a strong work ethic
The ability to perform physically demanding work with frequent bending, crouching and reaching
The ability and initiative to work independently while being supportive of and getting along with other team members

Apply now to become part of a team where your skills shine as bright as the cars you detail!

Compensation details: 18-20 Hourly Wage
