Original job description

We are hiring one full-time, permanent System Implementation Specialist to join our Systems Department.

As the primary driver of client-facing system work, you will participate in client kick-off meetings, lead scoping meetings, and manage the technical execution that follows. You will work closely with the assigned Project Manager, who oversees overall project timelines and progress.

You will provide the technical expertise behind each engagement, explain system requirements and tools, answer technical questions, and present technical solutions directly to clients.

Responsibilities

Client & Project Work

Participate in client kick-off meetings.
Lead scoping sessions, User Acceptance Testing, user training, and other technical meetings.
Turn client meeting outcomes into clear task lists and execution plans.
Configure, implement, and deploy systems for new and existing clients.
Deliver implementation work and ensure accurate, on-time go-lives.
Provide client training, ongoing support, and professional communication.
Troubleshoot system, change-management, and implementation issues.
Customize systems and processes based on client needs.
Work closely with Project Managers and Project Coordinators to keep projects on track.

Operational & Administrative Responsibilities

Accurately track billable hours in Zoho Projects.
Manage and update Zoho Projects, Zoho Desk, and Zoho CRM.
Maintain consistent records and documentation across company systems.
Participate in weekly check-ins and complete relevant action items.
Handle internal communication and administrative tasks using company tools.
Schedule and participate in internal and client-facing meetings.
Communicate clearly and provide regular updates to leadership.
Handle sensitive financial and system information with discretion and integrity.

Requirements

These are non-negotiable:

1–2 years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting an enterprise-level ERP system such as Priority ERP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, SAP, or Epicor.
Experience working with ERP systems in a client-facing capacity.
Working knowledge of manufacturing or distribution operations, including buying and selling processes.
Demonstrated client-facing consulting and scoping experience.
Technical troubleshooting, system configuration, and implementation experience.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and adjust the level of detail based on the audience.
General knowledge of client data privacy and security practices when handling financial and system data.

Everything else, including tools, templates, workflows, and internal systems, will be provided through training.

Work Location

This is a hybrid role, combining remote work with required in-person attendance at client sites when needed, office days, team events, and training.

Candidates must be able to attend in person within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Travel and related expenses are the candidate's responsibility.
