Pay - $70-$80K
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with OHSA, environmental regulations and company HSE policies.
- Advise management and employees on safety practices and risk prevention.
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Maintain safety programs, safe work procedures and emergency plans.
- Coordinate JHSC activities, HSE training and corrective actions.
- Support MLITSD inspections, WSIB claims and Return-to-Work programs.
- Monitor environmental compliance, waste management and sustainability initiatives.
- Track HSE performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing.
- Chemical or petrochemical industry experience is an asset.

Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental regulations, advise employees and management on safety and risk prevention, and conduct inspections, assessments, and incident investigations. Maintain safety and emergency programs, coordinate committee activities and training, support inspections and claims, monitor environmental initiatives, and improve health and safety performance.
Requirements
A diploma or degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field is required. The role requires at least five years of health, safety, and environmental experience in manufacturing; chemical or petrochemical experience is an asset.
