One of our food processing clients in Flesherton, ON is looking for a Refrigeration B Operator for their facility.
Shift - 8 hour rotational
Pay - $40-$43/hr

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, steam systems, refrigeration equipment, air compressors, and related utilities.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
- Monitor system performance and maintain accurate operating logs.
- Ensure compliance with TSSA regulations, food safety standards, and company safety policies.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency situations as required.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Valid TSSA 3rd Class Operating Engineer Certificate or Refrigeration B Operator Certificate required.
- Experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, steam generation, HVAC, and utility equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call schedules as required.
