Dayforce is a global human capital management (HCM) company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, with operations across North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region.

Our award-winning Cloud HCM platform offers a unified solution database and continuous calculation engine, driving efficiency, productivity and compliance for the global workforce.

Our brand promise - Makes Work Life Better™ - Reflects our commitment to employees, customers, partners and communities globally.

About the opportunity

Work closely with the SVP of Customer Operations and the Customer Operations leadership team to turn priorities into coordinated action. You will support organization-wide deliverables, prepare executive-ready communications and materials, and keep multiple cross-functional initiatives moving across SaaS, Tax, and Managed workstreams.

This is a highly visible role for someone who brings order to complexity, uses sound judgment with sensitive information, and takes initiative without waiting to be directed. You will help improve the operating rhythm of the leadership team while contributing directly to projects that strengthen scalability, customer outcomes, process discipline, and financial controls.

What you’ll get to do

  • Prepare and maintain project plans, milestones, action logs, and task trackers for multiple initiatives tied to annual operational objectives. Drive timely follow-through with a focus on speed, quality, and clear ownership.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project activity by organizing workstreams, clarifying dependencies, tracking risks and decisions, and escalating blockers early so commitments are met.
  • Own project and operational reporting, working with leaders to define useful metrics, develop the content and format of updates, and communicate progress in a concise, executive-ready manner.
  • Build and refine presentations, meeting materials, leadership updates, and written communications for town halls, operating reviews, and cross-functional discussions.
  • Plan and run key leadership meetings, including agenda development, pre-reads, facilitation support, decision capture, and follow-up. Improve the meeting cadence across time zones while maintaining appropriate inclusion and focus.
  • Drive communication and organizational-readiness deliverables that support change adoption and ensure teams understand priorities, decisions, owners, and next steps.
  • Identify, document, and recommend opportunities to simplify workflows, strengthen coordination, and improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the Global Head of Customer Operations in select meetings, communications, and initiatives when appropriate, ensuring alignment, discretion, and reliable follow-through.
  • Support select administrative and operational needs for senior leaders, including travel coordination, expense reporting, and preparation for key engagements.

Skills and experience we value

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3–5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in business operations, project coordination, executive support, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated initiative and strong organization and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong project-management discipline, including the ability to create practical plans, maintain momentum, and hold workstreams accountable to commitments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear emails, executive updates, and PowerPoint presentations and adapt communication to the audience.
  • Professional presence, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential matters or representing senior leaders.
  • Critical thinker who considers the impact of problems and solutions on customers, leaders, and internal stakeholders, and brings forward practical recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and collaboration tools. Experience with data visualization or analytics tools is an asset.
  • Flexible working style and strong relationship-management skills across functions, regions, and leadership levels. Willingness to travel as needed.
