About the Opportunity

Field Marketing at Dayforce connects marketing strategy to the priorities of our regional go-to-market teams. We partner closely with Sales to understand the business, identify where marketing can have the greatest impact, and build programs that create pipeline, accelerate active opportunities, and support customer growth.

As a Field Marketing Manager supporting the new business, you will own the field marketing strategy and plan for your business. You’ll use account, engagement, intent, and pipeline insights to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and develop programs for the accounts and audiences that matter most. You’ll serve as a key connection between Sales and Marketing - bringing regional priorities and customer insights into Marketing while bringing the right marketing programs, resources, and recommendations back to the field. Success in this role requires strong sales partnership, commercial judgment, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to turn strategy into action.

What You’ll Get to Do

Own the field marketing strategy and plan for your assigned segment or region, aligned to sales priorities, pipeline needs, priority accounts, and business goals.
Partner closely with sales leadership and sellers to understand their business, identify pipeline gaps and opportunities, and recommend where marketing can have the greatest impact.
Use account, engagement, intent, and pipeline data to identify opportunities and build programs that create new pipeline, accelerate active opportunities, and support expansion within existing customers.
Develop and execute integrated field and account-based marketing programs across in-person, virtual, digital, executive, partner, and other channels based on the needs of the audience and business.
Build account-based strategies for priority accounts and opportunities, determining the right audience, marketing approach, and level of investment based on business potential.
Own programs end to end - from strategy, audience and account selection through seller activation, execution, follow-up, measurement, and optimization.
Partner with Sales and BDR teams to drive clear activation around programs, including account prioritization, contact identification, invitations, outreach, and follow-up.
Bring together the right teams across Marketing - including Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Brand, Customer Marketing, Partner Marketing, and Marketing Operations - to deliver coordinated programs for the field.
Serve as the voice of your sales organization within Marketing and the voice of Marketing within Sales, creating a strong feedback loop around customer needs, market insights, priorities, and performance.
Build strong relationships and credibility with sales leadership and sellers, acting as a strategic marketing partner rather than simply an execution resource.
Evaluate incoming opportunities and requests based on business impact, audience, timing, and available resources. Make clear recommendations on where to invest, what to prioritize, and when a different approach is needed.
Define success measures before programs launch and regularly evaluate performance against the intended business outcome, including priority-account engagement, meetings, pipeline creation, opportunity progression, pipeline acceleration, and expansion where applicable.
Use program results and sales feedback to identify what is working, what needs to change, and where we should scale or shift investment.
Contribute to business reviews and planning discussions with clear insights, recommendations, and next actions based on marketing and pipeline performance.
Own program budgets, forecasting, procurement, and financial accuracy for your area of responsibility.
Travel up to 20% to support key programs, customer experiences, and sales activities.

Skills and Experience We Value

8+ years of B2B marketing experience, including significant experience in Field Marketing, Account-Based Marketing, Demand Generation, or a related role.
Experience partnering directly with B2B sales organizations and a strong understanding of the sales process, account planning, pipeline management, and opportunity progression.
Demonstrated ability to build marketing strategies based on business priorities and translate those strategies into programs that drive measurable outcomes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret account, engagement, intent, and pipeline data and turn it into clear insights and actions.
Experience using platforms such as Salesforce, Power BI, intent and account intelligence platforms, marketing automation, and sales engagement tools to inform decisions and measure performance.
Hands-on experience developing and executing integrated, multi-channel B2B marketing programs for SEGMENT accounts.
Experience developing account-based marketing strategies and programs for priority accounts and buying audiences.
Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, timelines, and budgets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information, make clear recommendations, and lead productive discussions with Sales and Marketing stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and operate effectively in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.

Strong commercial judgment and the ability to connect marketing activity to sales and business outcomes.
Ability to quickly understand a sales territory or segment, diagnose where the biggest opportunities and gaps exist, and recommend a focused marketing response.
A strong account-based mindset with experience using account, intent, engagement, and opportunity signals to determine where and how to activate marketing.
Demonstrated ability to earn credibility with sales leaders and sellers through strong business understanding, follow-through, and practical recommendations.
Ability to prioritize and make tradeoffs rather than treating every request or opportunity equally.
Experience creating high-value programs for complex enterprise buying groups and long sales cycles.
Strong understanding of Cloud/SaaS B2B applications; experience in HCM, HR technology, or adjacent categories is a plus.
Curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset - you look at results, identify what can be better, and apply those learnings to the next program.
