About the opportunity

The Revenue Performance Director is a strategic performance advisor embedded within a North American sales segment, accountable for helping leadership identify where execution is constraining revenue performance and mobilizing the capabilities required to improve it.

Working at the intersection of sales strategy, enablement, coaching, operations, and execution, the role connects signals from pipeline, forecast, customer conversations, seller behavior, and leadership priorities to identify performance gaps and recommend focused responses.

This role is designed for a commercially minded partner who can develop a clear point of view, mobilize the right resources, and help sales leaders reinforce the behaviors and operating rhythms that improve pipeline health, conversion, win rate, forecast confidence, and seller productivity.

Success is measured by meaningful movement in the business, not simply by the volume of programs or content delivered.

What you’ll get to do

Serve as a trusted revenue performance advisor to the segment's senior sales leader and leadership team, bringing an informed perspective on execution priorities and performance gaps and building support for the actions required to improve performance.
Develop a fact-based view of segment performance by connecting insights from Salesforce, Gong, pipeline and forecast reviews, win/loss analysis, customer conversations, seller behavior, and market conditions.
Translate complex or competing signals into clear recommendations about what is happening, why it matters, where leaders should focus, and how progress will be measured.
Partner with sales leadership to create and manage a focused quarterly roadmap tied to the segment’s most important commercial outcomes.
Diagnose the root causes of execution gaps and determine the most appropriate response, including leader coaching, seller activation, process reinforcement, targeted skill development, strategic deal support, or improved adoption of existing resources.
Translate sales strategy into observable seller and manager behaviors that can be coached, reinforced, and inspected.
Mobilize and, when needed, facilitate targeted coaching, leadership sessions, deal interventions, or skill development based on validated performance needs, leveraging specialist RAP expertise where appropriate.
Orchestrate across Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Product, Curriculum and Architecture, Competitive Intelligence, Value Advisory, Solution Consulting, and Customer Success to deliver coordinated support to the field.
Reinforce effective use of Dayforce’s sales methodology, systems, tools, and operating practices, including Salesforce, Gong, Joint Execution Plans, digital sales rooms, and AI-enabled workflows.
Establish success measures for roadmap priorities, inspect progress, adjust interventions based on evidence, and help scale effective practices across the broader organization.
Act as a gatekeeper for segment activation, helping leaders prioritize competing requests, protect seller capacity, and make explicit tradeoffs based on expected business impact.
Connect validated business needs to existing RAP and go-to-market capabilities, reusing and adapting proven solutions before creating new interventions.
Identify performance gaps and winning patterns, using evidence to determine what should be addressed, reinforced, or scaled.

Skills and experience we value

Experience in revenue enablement, sales effectiveness, sales leadership, go-to-market strategy, commercial excellence, or a comparable role supporting a complex B2B sales organization.
Demonstrated ability to partner with senior sales leaders and translate commercial priorities into practical execution plans.
Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect seller behavior and execution quality to pipeline, conversion, sales-cycle progression, forecast confidence, and revenue outcomes.
Experience interpreting quantitative and qualitative performance signals and turning them into a clear point of view and actionable recommendation.
Strong knowledge of enterprise or midmarket sales motions, including qualification, discovery, executive engagement, value articulation, buying-committee management, deal progression, negotiation, and close.
Demonstrated skill in coaching sellers and sales leaders, facilitating high-value working sessions, and constructively challenging assumptions.
Strong executive communication and cross-functional influence, with the confidence to recommend priorities and tradeoffs in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
Experience using platforms such as Salesforce and Gong to identify execution patterns, support coaching, and measure behavior or performance change.
Strong planning and execution discipline, with the ability to move from diagnosis through activation and measurement.
Ability to apply AI and emerging revenue technologies to performance diagnosis, seller productivity, coaching, and execution, rather than simply drive adoption of AI tools.

What would make you stand out

10+ years of experience carrying a quota, leading a sales team, coaching frontline managers, or working within an enterprise SaaS sales organization.
Experience supporting HCM, payroll, workforce management, ERP, or another complex business-technology category.
Familiarity with Challenger, MEDDPICC, value-based selling, mutual action plans, or comparable enterprise sales methodologies.
Experience building business cases, quantifying customer value, or helping sellers engage CFOs and other executive buyers.
A record of producing sustained changes in seller or manager behavior and performance.

How success will be measured

Success will be measured by the Revenue Performance Director's ability to identify and prioritize material performance opportunities, mobilize the right response, influence observable changes in seller and leader behavior, and demonstrate a contribution to measurable business outcomes.
Primary business outcomes may include qualified pipeline conversion, stage progression, qualified win rate, forecast accuracy, sales-cycle velocity, seller productivity, and revenue attainment.
Leading indicators may include executive and buying-committee engagement, manager coaching effectiveness, customer commitment, methodology application, and effective use of priority selling tools.
Measures will be agreed with Sales Leadership based on the specific performance constraint being addressed rather than applying the same KPI set to every segment or initiative.
