dcbel is a growing company building next-generation hardware and software for a future lead by electric vehicles (EVs) and distributed energy technologies like solar panels and battery storage.

Our flagship product, Ara™, is the world’s first all-in-one smart energy appliance sitting at the heart of the modern energy ecosystem. Combining several breakthrough technologies into one elegant package, Ara™ offers the fastest home EV charging available on the market, allows you to use your EVs massive battery as a backup power source and connects with solar panels to power your EV and home with the free, unlimited power of the sun.

dcbel is looking for a Senor DevOps Specialist to work in our growing team. The successful candidate will play an important role in deploying, improving and maintaining Cloud applications and services.

Key responsibilities:

Design and develop Infrastructure as Code for highly available and scalable systems.

Contribute to the CI/CD of our applications and services with Azure DevOps yaml pipelines.

Implement solutions to improve performance, resilience, security and availability of Cloud services running in AKS.

Evolve and manage the team’s observability and monitoring solutions for deployed services.

Participate in peer design and code reviews.

Modernize deployment strategies with GitOps.

Participate in the evolution of Agile and DevOps practices and culture.

What we’re looking for:

At least 5 years of experience delivering various Cloud services and applications in a DevOps or related software development role.

In-depth knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git.

Deep expertise in IaC tools such as Terraform and Bicep.

Strong experience with managing Helm charts for packaging, deploying, and managing Kubernetes applications.

Experience with ArgoCD or FluxCD.

Experience with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines or Github actions/workflow, GitLab.

Hands-on experience in Linux, Windows, and Mac administration.

Strong knowledge of cloud and Kubernetes networking (virtual network, load balancers, ingress controllers, network policies, service meshes).

Understanding and experience with Full Stack Development.

Experience with C#, .net 9, Visual Studio, Azure (Microsoft tech stack) is a plus.

Understanding of microservice architecture is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills. The successful candidate will effectively communicate with diverse team members and articulate ideas clearly while being receptive to feedback.

Working proficiency in French an asset.

Adaptable to emerging technologies. With the fast-paced nature of our industry, we need someone who can swiftly grasp new concepts and technologies.

Adept at translating theory into practice and capable of effective execution.

Pragmatic problem solver.

Team player. The successful candidate will be part of a highly collaborative environment and should contribute effectively to group projects and brainstorming sessions.
