The Role

As an Estimator, you will work to ensure and provide practical, cost-effective and accurate cost estimates to our valued clients for their orders.

This is an onsite role working Monday to Friday in our Mississauga (Tristar) site.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Receive Requests for Quotations and deliver complete, accurate cost estimates promptly.
• 
  
• Advise sales staff and clients on the most efficient and practical production methods
• 
  
• Collaborate with operations leaders to review construction, processes, and capabilities
• 
  
• Review estimates thoroughly for detail, accuracy, and completeness
• 
  
• Stay up to date on knowledge of paper stock sources, pricing, and product availability, updating and adjusting estimates and pricing as needed
• 
  
• Utilize estimating tools and modules within the computerized management information system
  
  
  
  
• 
  

Skills & Experiences

• 
  
• Post-Secondary diploma or degree in Graphic Communication Management or a related field, with 3+ years of estimating experience in the print industry
• 
  
• Understanding of lithography print production process, terminology, and specifications (film, layouts, and materials)
• 
  
• Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to perform calculations with a high degree of accuracy
• 
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively prioritize work 
• 
  
• Highly proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel

Compensation

$57,654 – $72,067 CAD per year

The compensation range listed reflects the expected compensation for the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual skills and experience.
