Serve as Operations SME - creating purchase orders, performing request calculations, and supporting order entry and scheduling
Support development and implementation of quality programs, driving continuous improvement in equipment efficiency, product quality, material waste, and cost reduction
Meet gross margin objectives by reviewing performance and cost data, investigating deviations, and taking corrective action
Assist General Manager with departmental budgets and the effective use of personnel and equipment
Lead, coach, and motivate supervisors and staff to meet short- and long-term goals, communicating daily to keep teams informed and engaged
Manage personnel administration, including time and attendance, hiring, promotions, onboarding, performance evaluations, compensation recommendations, and employee relations
Promote a safe workplace by supporting safety programs, attending Environment, Health & Safety committee meetings, and maintaining good housekeeping
Ensure production procedures and quality meet ISO, G7, and GMI certification standards
Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Experiences

Technical or Community College Diploma in Print Production, Administration, or a similar program
10+ years of experience in a people management role, including supervisory experience or plant management in flexo printing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; working knowledge of Microsoft D365 is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a self-starting attitude and strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
