Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday between 8:30am MST to 5pm MST (Full Time)

Our Team And What We'll Accomplish Together

You'll join our Calgary clinic as a Kinesiologist, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, dietitians, exercise physiologists and lab specialists to deliver personalized fitness assessments and pre-employment testing for corporate and occupational health clients.

In this role, you'll partner with the clinical team to deliver the assessments and training that help our clients achieve measurable health improvements, whether that's establishing sustainable exercise habits, building cardiovascular fitness, or increasing whole body strength. In addition, you will perform pre-employment testing to ensure individuals are cleared to perform the physical demands of their specific job roles safely and effectively.

Your work directly impacts client outcomes and contributes to our clinic's reputation as a leader in preventive health services across Alberta.

What You'll Do

Client Assessments & Testing: Conduct comprehensive fitness and occupational health assessments using CSEP protocols and evidence-based guidelines (body composition, strength, flexibility, aerobic testing). Perform vision, hearing, spirometry, audio, and resting ECG testing as required. Conduct ergonomic assessments for occupational health clients. Review client charts for accuracy and completeness to ensure comprehensive, organized health records.
Support Your Clients' Health Journey: Develop and implement individualized training programs and personalized care plans. Provide ongoing lifestyle counseling and support clients through goal-setting and habit change. Deliver clients with advice, recommendations, and education based on assessment results. Guide clients toward sustainable health improvements and track progress over time.
Collaborate & Communicate: Confer professionally with physicians and clinical staff regarding assessment findings, abnormalities, and care coordination. Compile and prepare detailed health status reports and assessment results. Maintain clear, timely communication with the clinical team to ensure coordinated, safe patient care.
Maintain Clinical Standards: Maintain testing equipment and clinic standards to ensure client safety, data integrity, and seamless daily operations. Respond promptly to emergencies. Perform related clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science
Alberta Kinesiology Association - Professional Kinesiology Membership
1–3 years of relevant clinical experience
Clear verbal and written communication skills with clients and healthcare professionals
Current CPR/BLS Certificate
Ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and attention to detail
Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment where you balance independent work with seamless teamwork

Great-to-haves

Current and active CSEP CPT certification
Experience with occupational or pre-employment testing
Experience with electronic health charting systems
Personal training certification or lifestyle counseling background
