Original job description
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. You will work directly with our clients to design and build complex, production-grade Proofs of Concept for agentic AI solutions on AWS, often with demanding data integration.
You’ll work side by side with our Data Architects and AI Architects. You’ll turn ambiguous business problems into working software fast: agentic backends on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, data pipelines that feed them, and polished Next.js interfaces that show the value to stakeholders. We expect you to build with AI-assisted development tools and to use them well: fast, but with code you’d be happy to own in production.
Engagement: full-time, long-term.
Location: ON/QC (ideally), Canada. !!! Readiness for business trips to Montreal in the next 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Build end-to-end PoCs and MVPs for enterprise clients, from discovery and solution design to a working demo and handover.
- Build and deploy AI agents.
- Integrate agents with client data sources and systems: relational and NoSQL databases, data lakes, internal APIs, SaaS platforms. Expose them as tools via AgentCore Gateway / MCP.
- Develop full-stack web applications with Next.js (App Router, Server Components, API routes) and TypeScript, including streaming chat and agent UIs.
- Build data ingestion and transformation pipelines with Data Architects (e.g. S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena/Redshift, Aurora PostgreSQL).
- Implement RAG and retrieval solutions.
- Use AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Kiro, or similar) as a core part of your workflow, while keeping code quality, test coverage and security high.
- Join client workshops, present technical solutions and demos, and explain trade-offs to technical and business audiences.
- Contribute to internal accelerators, reusable components and best practices for agentic AI delivery.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong full-stack skills.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js; hands-on production experience with Next.js and React.
- Working knowledge of Python (many agent frameworks and AgentCore SDKs are Python-first).
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, DynamoDB/RDS, ECS/containers, CloudWatch.
- Practical experience building LLM-powered applications on Amazon Bedrock. Experience with Bedrock AgentCore is a strong advantage.
- Experience with agent frameworks such as Strands Agents, LangGraph/LangChain, LlamaIndex or CrewAI, and an understanding of tool calling, memory, and multi-step agent orchestration.
- Experience with complex data integrations: SQL/PostgreSQL, ETL/ELT patterns, working with messy real-world client data.
- A proven AI-assisted development workflow: you know how to prompt, review, test and refactor AI-generated code, and where not to trust it.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform).
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced, client-facing environments; able to own a PoC end-to-end.
- Excellent communication skills; confident in client meetings and demos. English proficiency: B2+ (C1 preferred).
Will be a plus:
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, Machine Learning / Generative AI).
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and A2A protocols.
- Experience with LLM evaluation, guardrails and observability (Bedrock Guardrails, OpenTelemetry, LangSmith/Langfuse).
- Background in consulting, pre-sales engineering, or forward-deployed / solutions engineering roles.
- Experience with streaming data (Kinesis, Kafka/MSK) or analytics platforms (Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake).
Working Conditions:
- 16 days of paid time off.
- Official public holidays.
- Participation in company events.
- Health insurance.
- Engaging projects with opportunities for career growth.
- Certifications, Udemy courses, Claude/other tools needed.
- Corporate events, team-building activities.
- Gifts and recognition from the company.
- A friendly, open, and supportive team culture without excessive bureaucracy.
