The Project Delivery Lead (Manager) is responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of client projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires demonstration of leadership, stakeholder management, and project management capabilities, as well as the ability to manage and mentor project teams.

What will your typical day look like?

As a Manager on the Strategic Programs team, you will lead firm-wide Culture and People initiatives from strategy through implementation. Operating as an internal consultant with Deloitte as your client, you will frame ambiguous business and workforce challenges, shape practical solutions, lead integrated delivery, influence senior stakeholders, coach team members, and ensure programs achieve meaningful outcomes for our people and the firm. In this role you will be accountable for:

Responsibilities

Bring strategic thinking and innovation. Frame complex and ambiguous people and workforce challenges, test assumptions and translate strategy into clear choices, integrated roadmaps and scalable solutions. Bring curiosity and an informed point of view while remaining open to evidence and feedback.
Provide program leadership. Lead complex programs and workstreams as one integrated effort, connecting contributors, clarifying roles and decisions, adapting the delivery model and maintaining focus on business value.
Own outcomes end-to-end. Lead program or major workstreams across scope, governance, resources, risks, interdependencies, quality, change and benefits. Intervene early, resolve barriers and follow through.
Make data-driven decisions. Use research, analytics and stakeholder insight to test hypotheses, make trade-offs, define success measures and demonstrate progress against business and people outcomes.
Bring a future-focused perspective. Apply knowledge of people strategy, organizational transformation, future of work, data and emerging technology to challenge current approaches, translate market signals into firm-relevant implications and identify opportunities.
Shape compelling narratives. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative evidence into clear recommendations, executive narratives, presentations and governance materials that make the decision rationale and path forward easy to understand.
Influence senior stakeholders. Build trusted relationships across businesses and Culture & People Centres of Excellence, facilitate productive working sessions and create alignment with senior leaders when priorities, trade-offs or perspectives differ.
Lead as one team. Create a collaborative team environment by setting clear expectations, reviewing for quality, sharing context, giving and seeking candid feedback, and coaching team members through apprenticeship. Capture lessons, strengthen reusable approaches and tools, and help the team scale consistent, high-quality delivery across its portfolio.

You are someone with these required skills, experience and qualifications:

6+ years of relevant experience leading complex strategy, transformation or consulting work, ideally involving people, workforce or organizational change.
Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop practical recommendations and move from strategy through implementation.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
Strong program leadership, facilitation, executive communication and storytelling skills.
Ability to use qualitative and quantitative evidence to generate insight, make trade-offs and measure outcomes.
A collaborative, low-ego leadership style with high standards, sound judgment, curiosity, personal accountability and a commitment to developing others.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
