What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Consultant within Deloitte's Sourcing & Procurement Advisory practice, you will lead defined workstreams within complex client engagements and help organizations improve performance across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle, including procurement strategy, strategic sourcing, category management, operating model design, process improvement, and supplier management.
You will apply structured problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills to assess client challenges, develop practical recommendations, and translate strategies into actionable implementation plans. Working closely with client stakeholders and Deloitte teams, you will facilitate working sessions, manage deliverables and project activities, support junior team members, and communicate clear, compelling insights to senior audiences.
This role offers exposure to senior client stakeholders, diverse industries, and complex transformation programs, providing significant opportunities for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a hybrid environment, spending time at Deloitte offices and client locations as required. Travel within Canada and internationally may be required depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead defined workstreams within Sourcing & Procurement advisory engagements, translating project objectives into structured workplans, deliverables, and stakeholder activities.
- Structure complex business problems, develop analytical approaches, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations and implementation plans.
- Conduct spend, market, supplier, and process analyses to identify opportunities to improve cost, risk, resilience, and operational performance.
- Lead strategic sourcing workstreams, including opportunity assessment, market engagement, RFx development, bid evaluation, negotiation support, and implementation planning.
- Assess Source-to-Pay processes and operating models, identify improvement opportunities, and support the design of future-state processes, capabilities, and implementation roadmaps.
- Develop high-quality client-ready analyses, presentations, workshop materials, business cases, and recommendations.
- Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to drive alignment, decisions, and action plans.
- Manage workstream activities, timelines, risks, dependencies, and status reporting, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Collaborate with business, procurement, finance, operations, and technology stakeholders to support decision-making and drive project outcomes.
- Develop and present executive-ready analyses, recommendations, and decision materials for client stakeholders and project leadership.
- Coach and support junior team members through day-to-day guidance, knowledge sharing, and quality review of deliverables.
- Contribute to proposals, market research, recruiting, knowledge development, and other practice-building initiatives.

You are someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree (MBA, MS) is considered an asset.
- Has 5-8 years of consulting and/or industry experience in Sourcing & Procurement.
- Brings experience across multiple Sourcing & Procurement capabilities, including strategic sourcing, category management, spend analytics, supplier management, procurement technology, and operating model transformation.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the Source-to-Pay lifecycle and procurement leading practices.
- Has experience leading project workstreams, structuring analyses, managing deliverables, and coordinating the work of junior team members.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex business issues and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Has experience developing high-quality client deliverables, executive-ready presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Has experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Applies structured consulting methodologies, project management disciplines, and data-driven analysis to solve client challenges.
- Balances multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail, accountability, and a high standard of client service.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrates the ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, PMP) are considered an asset.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
