As a Java Developer at Deloitte, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications or software solutions for a leading North American Bank. This long-term staff augmentation role requires strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions to our client.

What will your typical day look like?

You will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance professionals to ensure clear communication and smooth delivery across the software development lifecycle.

A key part of your work involves troubleshooting and debugging, identifying and resolving technical issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks by analyzing logs, using debugging tools, and partnering with the team to implement fixes. You will support quality by participating in unit, integration, and system testing, writing test cases, executing tests, and reporting defects to maintain reliability. Finally, you will commit to continuous learning, staying current with Java technologies, frameworks, and best practices through training, certifications, and knowledge sharing with colleagues.
