What will your typical day look like?

Reporting to the Manager, Finance Automation, you will support finance systems projects and training initiatives designed to improve processes, efficiency, and the user experience. Working with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization, you will contribute to business integration and process improvement activities, coordinate project deliverables, and help advance operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Support finance systems and process improvement projects within the BIS Finance Team, including bill and cost rate processes and the Concur Expense Transformation, in collaboration with Finance, CBS, IT, Treasury, Tax, and global support teams.
Analyze and reconcile complex organizational hierarchy and rate data during time-sensitive periods to ensure accuracy and timely issue resolution.
Partner with business units to understand and document processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development of business cases, process enhancements, and user-friendly dashboards.
Coordinate system testing and defect resolution with local stakeholders and global support teams; investigate SAP-related operational issues and escalate complex matters as appropriate.
Manage assigned deliverables by monitoring schedules, dependencies, risks, and issues; recommend mitigation actions and communicate progress and potential delays to project leads and stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain project documentation and communications, including project plans, test scripts, status reports, and presentation materials for project leads and leadership teams.
Support post-implementation reviews, document lessons learned, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

About The Team

You’ll join the Business Integration Services (BIS) team within Central Business Services (CBS), a group of driven, strategic professionals committed to improving finance operations across Deloitte Canada. Our team values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, creating a supportive environment where every member’s contribution is recognized.

Working closely with stakeholders across multiple departments, you’ll be part of a dynamic and diverse team that tackles complex challenges and delivers high-impact solutions for the business.

You are someone with these required skills:

Three or more years of experience with SAP and financial accounting operations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with close attention to detail.
Experience contributing to finance transformation, systems implementation, or process improvement projects.
Experience working with cross-functional or geographically dispersed project teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with VBA or other automation tools is an asset.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
A results-oriented approach, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively across departments.
Sound understanding of business and finance fundamentals.
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a high-performing team.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
