Sales Consultant - Luxury Fine Art
Sales Consultant | Luxury Fine Art
Cambridge | Full-time or Part-time | OTE £40,000+ | Uncapped Commission
For ambitious sales professionals, your earning potential is determined by your performance, not a capped commission or bonus scheme.
At Clarendon Fine Art, we don't just sell artwork, we create exceptional experiences and help clients discover pieces they'll treasure for a lifetime.
As the largest gallery group across the UK, US and at Sea, we're looking for ambitious, commercially driven people who enjoy building long-term client relationships, proactively generating business, and achieving outstanding sales results.
This is a consultative sales role, not a transactional retail position. If you enjoy developing clients, closing significant sales and being rewarded for your success we'd love to hear from you.
You'll Thrive In This Role If You:
- Love working towards and exceeding sales targets.
- Build rapport quickly and influence purchasing decisions naturally.
- Enjoy developing long-term client relationships.
- Are proactive, resilient and commercially minded.
- Take ownership of your own success.
We'd particularly love to hear from you if you've worked in:
Luxury Retail
Jewellery Automotive
Property Recruitment
Travel Hospitality
Premium Customer Service Business Development
Consultative Sales Client Relationship Management
Before You Apply:
This is a relationship-led sales career with ambitious targets and exceptional rewards. Is this the right role for you?
Our Highest-performing Art Consultants Typically:
- Start conversations confidently with people they've never met.
- Enjoy being measured on commercial performance and achieving ambitious sales targets.

- Thrive in a role where every day is different.
- Are excited by the opportunity to influence significant purchasing decisions.
What You’ll Do
You'll build your own portfolio of clients through gallery visitors, existing collectors, referrals, exhibitions, events and proactive client development. You'll:

- Contact clients by phone, email and face-to-face.
- Host gallery events, private viewings and exclusive exhibitions.
- Conduct home consultations and personalised appointments.
- Generate repeat business and referrals.
