Oversee the refrigeration plant once operational, including monitoring performance, coordinating maintenance requirements, and ensuring safe and reliable operation
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and promote a strong safety culture across all site operations and contractor activities
Develop and implement operational procedures and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability of site and camp operations.
Monitor camp and operational budgets, approve expenditures within authority, and identify opportunities for cost optimization
Manage emergency preparedness plans related to camp operations, utilities, and critical systems, and participate in emergency response activities as required

Requirements

You are comfortable leading diverse teams, managing contractors, and overseeing critical site infrastructure while maintaining a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Additional qualifications include:

Minimum 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in site services, utilities, camp operations or remote workforce management, preferably within the mining, construction, or resource sectors
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with camp utilities, including water treatment, wastewater treatment, electrical systems, propane systems, and critical camp infrastructure is considered an asset

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using operational or workforce management systems is considered an asset
