Dermalogica Canada is looking for an ECommerce Manager, DTC!

The Role

As Ecommerce Manager, DTC, you will be a key strategic partner to the Director of Ecommerce & DTC, responsible for driving the commercial performance, digital execution and ongoing optimization of Dermalogica Canada’s direct-to-consumer business.

Combining strong commercial acumen with technical expertise, you will translate sales targets into actionable plans, oversee campaigns and promotional strategy across digital channels, and proactively identify opportunities and risks to deliver revenue growth. You will lead the DTC promotional calendar, loyalty and subscription programs, and Shopify development roadmap, ensuring our technology, customer experience and cross-functional teams work together to maximize conversion, retention and customer lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Performance & Sales Accountability: Own day-to-day DTC sales performance against targets, budgets and forecasts. Monitor results closely, identify gaps and emerging risks, communicate challenges proactively to the Director, and recommend actionable plans to close sales gaps and capitalize on opportunities.
Campaign & Channel Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end execution of DTC campaigns and activations across onsite, CRM, paid media and other digital channels, partnering with channel leads to ensure cohesive strategy, timely delivery and measurable commercial impact.
Promotional Strategy: Own the DTC promotional calendar and develop strategic promotions, offers and activations that drive customer engagement, conversion, average order value and material revenue growth while protecting Dermalogica’s premium brand positioning.
Loyalty & Subscription Growth: Support loyalty and subscription program growth, working with the Ecommerce Director to develop strategies to improve enrolment, engagement, recurring revenue, retention and customer lifetime value as well as owning implementation.
CRM & Customer Journey Optimization: Partner with the CRM Manager to develop and optimize onsite experiences and webflows that support acquisition, conversion, replenishment, cross-sell, retention and customer lifetime value.
Merchandising & Launch Oversight: Guide the Ecommerce Coordinator on product launches, product setup, merchandising priorities, onsite visibility, promotional mechanics and campaign implementation, ensuring alignment with the commercial calendar and sales objectives.
Technical & Platform Leadership: Maintain strong working knowledge of Shopify’s backend, integrations and broader ecommerce technology stack. Lead developer discussions, manage biweekly sprint planning and prioritize the development roadmap based on business impact, customer experience and technical requirements.
Conversion & Continuous Improvement: Use ecommerce analytics, customer insights and testing to identify friction points, improve the shopping journey and prioritize initiatives that drive measurable business results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with CRM, Paid Media, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Finance and external development partners to align priorities, resolve issues and deliver business objectives.

Requirements

5+ years of ecommerce experience, with demonstrated ownership of DTC performance and commercial outcomes.
Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to translate sales data into actionable strategies and communicate performance risks proactively.
Proven experience developing promotional strategies, managing campaign calendars and driving revenue through digital channels.
Strong understanding of retention, loyalty, subscription models and customer lifetime value.
Hands-on Shopify Plus expertise, including backend administration, merchandising, integrations and ecommerce operations.
Experience managing developers, technical backlogs, sprint planning and ecommerce roadmaps.
Strong project management, stakeholder leadership and communication skills.
Proactive, accountable and solutions-oriented, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Klaviyo.
Familiarity with ecommerce analytics, attribution and reporting tools such as GA4, Power BI or RetentionX.
Experience with subscription platforms, loyalty technology, A/B testing and personalization tools.
