About the Talent Pool
DCC is building a pool of experienced Project Managers for anticipated client projects. We are looking for people who can create structure in complex environments, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and maintain delivery momentum when timelines are short and priorities change.
This is not an immediate vacancy or a guarantee of work. Candidates may be considered for future engagements based on their experience, availability, location, and ability to meet client security requirements. Project scope, duration, workload, compensation, and contractual terms will be confirmed before an assignment is offered.
What you may be responsible for
Responsibilities will vary by engagement and may include:
- Leading complex projects from initiation through delivery and closeout, translating project objectives and contractual commitments into clear plans, milestones, responsibilities, and deliverables
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams that may include researchers, designers, developers, strategists, business analysts, change practitioners, clients, and external partners
- Managing and monitoring schedules, budgets, resources, scope, dependencies, risks, quality, and contractual commitments, with timely corrective action when delivery moves off track
- Establishing an effective project cadence by facilitating key meetings, documenting decisions and actions, and maintaining clear communication across clients, project teams, leadership, and other stakeholders
- Producing accurate, timely, and decision-ready project documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications
You must have:
- An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or another relevant PMI credential
- 5-7 of experience managing complex projects involving multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience managing service design, UX, digital transformation, or product-development projects
- Experience with Agile, hybrid, and traditional project-delivery approaches
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent deliverables, short timelines, changing priorities, and client expectations
- Strong project-planning, governance, facilitation, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Continuous residence in Canada for at least the past five years, as required for anticipated client security-screening processes
- The willingness and ability to undergo Government of Canada personnel security screening
Good to have
The following would be beneficial:
- Experience working in a consulting, professional-services, or agency environment
- Experience delivering projects for the Canadian federal government
- Knowledge of or experience with change management
- A valid Government of Canada Reliability Status or security clearance
How to Apply
Please submit your current résumé and, if you wish, a brief note describing the types of projects you have managed and your interest in working with DCC.
Applications will be reviewed as opportunities arise. Candidates whose experience aligns with an upcoming engagement may be contacted for an initial conversation and further assessment.
DCC welcomes applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, identities, experiences, and perspectives.
Joining the talent pool does not guarantee an interview, project assignment, minimum number of hours, or future employment or contract work.
