Analyze existing business processes and develop current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, and business process documentation.
Support vendor discovery sessions and translate discussions into business requirements, process flows, and supporting documentation.
Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional requirements, business rules, process flows, and other project documentation.
Work closely with IT Project Managers and technology teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
Identify process gaps, business impacts, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Support transformation initiatives, platform replatforming, system migration, and business process optimization projects.
Maintain requirements traceability and ensure alignment between business requirements, solution design, testing, and implementation.
Collaborate with Quality Engineering teams to support test scenario development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and business validation.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and project delivery activities, where applicable.
Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate project updates, and ensure alignment across business and technology teams.

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and process mapping.
Ability to translate business needs into clear workflows, business requirements, and functional documentation.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, project managers, and external vendors.
Experience supporting business transformation, platform implementation, or process improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Required Experience and Skills

8+ years of overall IT industry experience, including at least 5 years in a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or IT Business Analyst capacity.

Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, business workflows, and process documentation.
Understanding of current-state and future-state process mapping.
Experience supporting solution design, system implementation, testing, and UAT.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or equivalent documentation and requirements-management platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in wealth management, investments, banking, or financial services.
Experience with business process transformation and platform migration projects.
Experience working with external vendors during discovery, requirements gathering, and implementation.
Exposure to complex enterprise systems and regulated business environments.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A master's degree is an asset.

Professional Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
Effective workshop facilitation and presentation skills.
Strong business process mapping and documentation capabilities.
Ability to bridge communication between business and technology teams.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional project environment.
