Role Mandate
The communications specialist will support training and development by creating, coordinating, and delivering professional, consistent, and branded communications and learning materials. This role plays a key part in supporting training initiatives and change management programs across the bank. Working alongside a team of experienced professionals, the successful candidate will develop and deliver communications and learning content that drive engagement, promote consistency, and support key business initiatives.
The role offers a flexible, remote-first work environment, exposure to a broad range of business areas, and the chance to build experience within the banking industry.
Summary
- Responsible for the concept and execution of innovative and professional communications including email, newsletters, training material, and corporate communications.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to organize, manage time, and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer skills to include MS Office Suite and Copilot.
- Experience in participating in change management plans and utilizing communications in change management plans.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into simple, straightforward, easy-to-understand messages.
- Proven clarity and creativity in all forms of communication.
- Effectively coordinate and interface with various departments.
- Ability to take direction and produce quality work in a limited timeframe.
- Provide creative and innovative ideas.
- Communicate professionally both written and orally, internally, and externally.
- Coordinate multiple tasks within established timelines.
- Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the production of internal communications and training materials.
- Develop creative executions from idea to full rollout execution.
- Assist company employees at all levels with the development of materials for various company projects in accordance with acceptable internal specifications.
- Ensure that all corporate design standards are adhered to and made part of all work that is created internally or by outside vendors.
- Assist in creative development, logistics, and distribution of materials for newsletters, internal communications, and training sessions.
- Bilingual French speaker is a bonus – will be required to proofread translations.
