Position Name - Senior Java Software Engineer

Location - Mississauga, ON / Toronto, ON

Long Term Contract Project

2 Rounds Interviews ( 1st Technical Virtually , 2nd Onsite)

Development Position

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrable experience as a Full-Stack Developer transitioning into an FDE-style, customer-facing delivery role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java (Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST/gRPC APIs) and/or strong production experience in Python (FastAPI/Flask, data processing libraries).
  • Ability to work across both Java and Python codebases, or demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly on the second language.
  • Hands-on experience with Tekton/OpenShift Pipelines and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline design and management.
  • Strong database expertise across Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB, including performance tuning and schema design.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps practices: containerization (Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes), infrastructure as code, and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP - at least one).
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working directly with business stakeholders.
  • High agency, ownership mindset, and comfort operating with ambiguity in fast-paced client-facing environments.
