Job summary
Our Regina branch is built around parts and service for trucks and trailers. As Branch Manager, you’ll lead the branch end to end: parts sales, the service shop, customer service, the warehouse, and the team behind them. This is a hands-on role for a leader who knows how a parts counter and a shop work, and who wants real ownership of a branch backed by an established industry leader.
Whether you’re already managing a branch or you’re a Service Manager, Parts Manager or Parts & Service Manager ready for your next step, we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the branch, including parts sales, service shop activity, customer service, warehouse and delivery.
- Oversee service work on trucks and trailers, making sure jobs are scheduled, completed on time, done safely, and billed accurately.
- Manage parts availability and inventory so customers and technicians have what they need.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet and commercial customers, and grow the branch’s business.
- Manage branch performance against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including budgets, costs, and key financial metrics.
- Lead, coach, and develop the branch team, including hiring, performance evaluations, discipline, and conflict resolution.
- Plan and prioritize work, ensuring compliance with safety standards and a strong safety culture.
- Use the ERP system and data to improve efficiency, decision-making, and processes.
- Work closely with other Dexter branches and teams to share knowledge and meet common goals.
- Step in where needed, at the counter, in the shop, or with customers, and lead by example.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in parts and service management, ideally in trucks, trailers, heavy-duty, heavy equipment, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role (shop, parts department, service department, or branch).
- Good understanding of how a service shop operates (work orders, technicians, warranty, scheduling).
- Sales, account management, or business development experience is a strong asset.
- Experience managing budgets, costs, or departmental KPIs.
- Comfortable with ERP, dealer management, or inventory software.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on attitude and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.
What We Offer
- Permanent, full-time position
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Annual salary based on experience and qualifications
- Group insurance plan (75% paid by the employer)
- Employer RRSP contribution up to 4%
- Annual vacation paid
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Opportunities for career advancement
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Company events and team-building activities
- And much more!
