WHAT’S THE JOB?

As a Cleaner at DND Gander, reporting to the Account Manager, you will ensure a sanitary environment, securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day to day work and performing other duties as assigned or requested. We are looking for a Part time Cleaner, Saturdays and Sundays from 8am-4pm as well as flexible candidates who are available as needed to cover absences, vacations, or to meet increased demand to support our custodial staff.

Your Work Will Include

Common area cleaning and washrooms
Collecting and transporting garbage
Sweeping and mopping the floor and vacuuming the carpets
High dusting the common area
Cleaning windows

Qualifications

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A great attitude!
At least one (1) year experience in cleaning.
Able to communicate with supervisor, Client and general public
Able to lift up to 25 lbs
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials.
A clear criminal background check is required for this role, as well as Government Reliability clearance.

Responsibilities

Clean common areas and washrooms, collect and transport garbage, sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, high-dust common areas, and clean windows. Maintain a sanitary environment and secure and maintain the tools and equipment used for daily work.

Requirements

Applicants need at least one year of cleaning experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate with supervisors, clients, and the public. They must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, have knowledge of occupational health and safety and workplace hazardous materials, and pass a criminal background check and Government Reliability clearance.
