About this role

We are looking for a highly capable Senior Research Manager to support the delivery of qualitative research projects and work closely with Directors, Managers, and Analysts across the team.

The Senior Research Manager will contribute across the research process, including project design, fieldwork, analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will bring strong project management, analytical, writing, and communication skills, as well as some experience moderating qualitative research.

Primary responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Executing qualitative projects across design, fieldwork, analysis, and reporting
Managing project timelines, deliverables, and internal workflows
Moderating using live and asynchronous methodologies
Drafting screeners, discussion guides, and other research materials
Reviewing online research platform programming and related materials
Monitoring fieldwork, identifying issues, and supporting timely solutions
Analyzing and synthesizing findings into clear, actionable insights
Developing research reports and presentations
Applying AI tools to support analysis and deliverables
Attending and actively contributing to internal and client meetings

Experience, skills, and requirements

5+ years of relevant qualitative research experience
University degree and/or post-graduate certificate in a relevant field
Experience managing qualitative research projects across multiple stages of the research process
Experience moderating live and asynchronous qualitative research
Strong analytical and synthesis skills and report-writing ability
Clear, timely, and effective communication skills
Experience with online research platform programming and management
Comfort using AI tools and incorporating them into research workflows
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word
Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
Intellectually curious and empathetic
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
French and/or other language skills are an asset
Willingness to travel occasionally within North America
