About the Opportunity

Direct Plus Food Group is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative based in Calgary, AB, working full-time from our office.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive, seamless customer experience from start to finish of every transaction.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for serving as the main point of contact for customers, managing order processing and inventory for chain accounts, and working closely with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Serving as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, product availability, and delivery schedules
Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns
Entering orders accurately and monitoring their receipt, including booking and confirming appointments
Preparing and processing credit notes and invoices
Working with sales, procurement, warehousing, and shipping to ensure orders are fulfilled and shipped on time, resolving any discrepancies along the way
Managing and monitoring inventory for chain accounts, and connecting corporate chains with buyers
Maintaining sales order master files, customer lists, and purchase order receipts
Providing reception coverage and general office support, including filing and scanning paperwork
Other duties as requested by the management team

About You

To qualify, you will need a High School Diploma and ideally bring 1-2 years of experience in customer service, with a background in the food and beverage industry being a strong asset. Data entry accuracy, along with excellent written and oral English communication skills, will also be essential.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

Familiarity with big chain retail accounts
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Proficiency with tools such as MS Office and Sage X3
