ESL Instructor for HCA Program
Are you passionate about making a difference in the healthcare sector? Discovery Community College has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our onsite ESL HCA program in our Maple Ridge, BC campus.
As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in transforming lives and positively impacting the health care sector in British Columbia, guiding students through their laboratory and clinical training to become fully qualified and much-needed Health Care Assistants (HCAs).

Responsibilities
Teach English as a Second Language in the Health Care Assistant program and guide students through their learning. Support students during laboratory and clinical training as they prepare to become qualified Health Care Assistants.
Requirements
Candidates must hold TESL Canada Professional Standard Two and have experience teaching Canadian Language Benchmarks level 5 and above. A university degree (BA), 100 hours of methodology and theory, and Health Care Assistant content knowledge are required.
