The Position
Purpose
Operate boomtruck to deliver supplies and materials to mining crews and storages underground. Support mining operations by operating other utility equipment including water and fuel cassettes.

The Position
Purpose
Operate boomtruck to deliver supplies and materials to mining crews and storages underground. Support mining operations by operating other utility equipment including water and fuel cassettes.
Safety & Sustainability Expectations
- Responsible for their health and safety as well as others
- Will correct or report unsafe practices or conditions.
- Maintains a safe and healthy place to work.
- Make suggestions to improve any aspect of safety and will correct issues wherever possible.
- Will understand and follow company policies and procedures
- Learns and follows the safety rules and procedures for safe performance of the job.
- Perform general housekeeping i.e.. storages, travel ways and removal of scrap out of mine.
- Delivery of supplies and material to crews.
- Operate water cassette and transport fuel cassette as directed by supervisor
- Must be willing to acquire haul truck training
- High School Diploma.
- Basic Underground Common Core (U0000, U0001, U0002 and U0012)
- U0024 Operate Utility Vehicle
- U0091 Operate Haul Truck would be an asset but not required.
- Fall arrest training
- Lifting Mechanisms
- Minimum of 12 months mining experience an asset
- Heavy machinery experience an asset

Responsibilities
Operate a boom truck to deliver supplies and materials to underground mining crews and storage areas, and operate water and fuel cassettes as directed. Maintain mine storages and travel ways through housekeeping and scrap removal, while following safety procedures and reporting or correcting unsafe conditions.
Requirements
A high school diploma and Basic Underground Common Core modules U0000, U0001, U0002, and U0012 are listed, along with U0024 utility vehicle operation and fall arrest and lifting mechanisms training. Mining and heavy machinery experience are assets; haul truck operation certification is also an asset but is not required, and the operator must be willing to acquire haul truck training.
