The Position
Perform all aspects of mechanized cut and fill stoping, jumbo ramp development and lateral development.
Key Responsibilities
- Must be able to perform all aspects of mechanized cut and fill stoping, jumbo ramp development, and lateral development. With the exception of Jumbo drilling
- Must be able to install ground support to standard, in MCF and development headings including rehab
- Must be able to operate, mechanized bolter (large and small section) fletcher bolter would be an asset
- Must be able to operate on their own and / or with a partner
- Must be able to read, understand and follow prints
- Must be able to setup the workplace in a safe and productive fashion
- Other work as assigned by supervisor
- High School Diploma.

Responsibilities
Perform mechanized cut-and-fill stoping, jumbo ramp development, and lateral development, excluding jumbo drilling. Install ground support to required standards, operate mechanized bolters, follow prints, and set up work areas safely and productively.
Requirements
Requires a high school diploma, an Underground Common Core Certificate, and the listed specialty modules for drilling, bolting, blasting, LHD operation, service extension, lifting mechanisms, mechanized bolters, utility vehicles, and scissor lifts. The posting specifies a minimum of five (7) years of mining experience, including four years in development mining and stoping, and training and licensing to operate almost all mine equipment.
