Discovery Kidd has an exciting opportunity for a Training Advisor .

A growing North America Precious Metals Company, Discovery is committed to combining high-quality gold producing assets in Canada with the world’s largest undeveloped silver deposit in Mexico.

The Position

Reporting to the Safety & Emergency Response Superintendent, the Training Advisor’s primary objective is to support the training needs of Kidd Operations’ departments.

Key Responsibilities

Ability to develop and deliver high-quality training materials to all personnel;
Coordinate training activities for contractors and Kidd Concentrator personnel;
Develop and implement delivery plans for training systems;
Complete induction requirements and verify contractor competencies;
Ensure training meets legislative requirements and time frames;
Schedule and document training activities required to maintain company systems;
Mentoring training officers and embedded trainers.

Skills And Qualifications

The ideal Candidate will have:

A University degree or College diploma with 2-4 years’ experience in a training capacity;
Certification in Train the Trainer would be considered an asset;
Demonstrated technical writing experience including report writing and training development;
Strong planning, organizational and facilitation skills;
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent computer skills including use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications;
Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Pivot Tables, etc.

Compensation And Benefits

Competitive total compensation package including:

Company contributions and matching into a Defined Contribution Pension Plan; and
Annual compensation of CAD$80,000 to CAD$100,000.

Responsibilities
