About Us:

Join Distech Controls (an Acuity Brands company) as our new Senior Manager, Quality – Americas. Step into a strategic and operational leadership role where you will head our North American quality group and drive excellence across our products, processes, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 8 to 10 professionals.
Drive continuous improvement, conduct performance evaluations, and foster skill development.

OEM Quality & Compliance:

Act as the primary interface for the Quality group with Operations and customers during non-standard OEM requirement reviews.
Coordinate, prepare, and validate customer PPAP documentation.
Product Development & APQP:
Integrate robust quality planning methodologies and lead risk analysis tools (DFMEA, PFMEA).
Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Engineering, and Sales teams.

Requirements & Profile:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial environment (automotive industry experience is a strong asset).
Technical Skills: Mastery of APQP, PPAP processes, and the AIAG 5 Core Tools.
Languages: Fully bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
Soft Skills: Proven leadership, rigorous organization, excellent communication, and a strong customer-focused mindset.
