Team Lead, Coordinated Entry Program
This is a Full-Time Permanent position, starting as soon as possible.
Location & Hours
Work location: On-site at SORCe (1944 10 Ave SW), as part of the Coordinated Entry Program.
Hours: Generally, Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm, with occasional evenings or weekends as required.

What to Expect
As Team Lead, Coordinated Entry Program (CEP), you’ll report to the Program Manager and guide a frontline team supporting people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and involved with the justice system.
Based at SORCe, a multi-agency hub, you'll oversee the Justice Navigation Program, coach staff, and work closely with community partners to connect participants to the supports they need. Alongside another Team Lead, you’ll help shape how the program grows and adapts.
This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing team support with program oversight, and stepping in on the frontline when needed.

Team Supervision and Staff Development
- Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and support to staff through regular check-ins and clear expectations
- Give timely, constructive performance feedback
- Lead onboarding, training, and professional development for your team
Operations and Program Quality
- Monitor service demand, staffing capacity, scheduling, and workflow across assigned areas
- Coordinate coverage to keep services running, and step into frontline duties when staffing or demand requires it
- Review documentation, data quality, incident reports, and service trends, and address concerns or escalate risks as needed
Shared Leadership and Partnerships
- Collaborate with leaders to align practices and share operational feedback
- Communicate and implement program changes, service shifts, policies, and improvement initiatives with staff
- Partner with community agencies to support participant flow, align site practices, and a contribute to a safe, welcoming multi-agency space
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- 3 to 6 years of related experience, including leadership or supervisory experience in a social service or related setting
- 3 to 6 years of related experience, including leadership or supervisory experience in a social service or related setting.
- Experience supporting people with complex needs, including homelessness, financial wellness, mental health and addiction, and family violence.
- Knowledge of the justice and legal systems and their impact on individuals accessing social and community services, is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience delivering homelessness support services and working with Coordinated Entry and Coordinated Access systems and principles.
- Proven interpersonal and cultural competency skills to work effectively and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
- Strong coaching, facilitation, and training skills to support staff learning and growth.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills, with high attention to detail and solid problem-solving
- Ability to respond well to unexpected changes, technology challenges, and crisis situations in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and participant data management systems such as HMIS or equivalent
Additional Employment Requirements
As a condition of employment, all successful candidates are required to complete and maintain a Police Information Check. For those in direct service user-facing roles, a Vulnerable Sector Search is also required.
