Diverse Group is a Vancouver-based apparel distributor. We're looking for a People & Operations Coordinator to join our team - someone who supports our people and culture work day to day, and who's also ready to flex into other parts of the business (marketing, admin, and general coverage) as priorities shift.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, likes wearing multiple hats, and wants to be a genuinely useful, go-to person across the company rather than staying in one narrow lane.

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Location: 730 Alexander Street, Vancouver, BC (on-site)

Reports to: Managing Director

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year

What You Will Do

People & Culture

Support onboarding for new hires (paperwork, orientation, setup)

Coordinate performance review scheduling and documentation

Act as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns

Support employee relations matters and escalate as needed

Maintain employee records and HR documentation

Plan and help run staff and company events

Flex & Business Support

Step in to support other departments during busy periods

Provide coverage for other roles when staff are away or short-handed

Support general office operations as needed

Take on ad hoc projects across the business as priorities shift

Marketing Support

Create and schedule social media posts and simple graphics using Canva and Photoshop

Support promotion of company and staff events

Assist with internal communications and employee-facing content

What We Are Looking For

1-3 years of experience in HR, office coordination, or a people-facing role

Discretion and good judgment handling sensitive information

Strong organizational skills and follow-through

Friendly, approachable, and comfortable being a first point of contact for staff

Genuinely enjoys variety and is comfortable with a role that shifts day to day depending on what the business needs

Proficiency with Google Workspace / MS Office, plus working experience with Canva and Photoshop

Interest in digital marketing or social media is a plus, not required

Experience in apparel, fashion, or distribution is an asset but not required
