Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Location: 730 Alexander Street, Vancouver, BC

Reports to: Managing Director

Salary: $60,000–$90,000 per year

Love discovering great fashion and helping retailers find their next best-selling collection? Diverse Group is looking for a relationship-driven Sales Manager to grow a portfolio of women's apparel brands.

Based in Vancouver's Railtown district, we've been connecting premium lifestyle brands with retailers across Canada and the United States since 1980. In this role, you'll build lasting partnerships with buyers, energize our regional sales reps, and bring collections to life at trade shows.

The Position

You'll take the lead on sales and growth for your brands, developing new business while strengthening relationships with existing accounts. You'll also oversee brand operations, from samples through to shipping, with a Brand Assistant supporting day-to-day administration.

Working directly with our Managing Director, you'll plan around a seasonal market calendar and manage multiple selling seasons at once. If you enjoy combining sales instincts with creativity and organization - and helping a team succeed - we'd love to meet you.

What You Will Do

Sales and Customer Growth

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers and key accounts

Represent the brands at trade shows across Canada and the US

Sell directly to accounts and support reps in closing business

Coach and motivate the sales rep team with a positive, hands-on approach

Identify and pursue new customer opportunities

Own the seasonal sales plan and achieve booking targets

Brand Operations

Partner with the Brand Assistant, who handles day-to-day administration: samples, order entry, and system data

Oversee seasonal NuORDER line sheets so reps and buyers can order without delays

Own order flow and forecasting, from new customers and reorders to in-season buys

Manage vendor relationships with overseas suppliers on product, timing, and pricing

Keep sales reporting on track with current scorecards and booking numbers

What We Are Looking For

3+ years of fashion sales experience, ideally women's apparel, with trade show and key account experience

A strong track record of building customer relationships and growing accounts

Confidence presenting collections and connecting with buyers at trade shows

A positive, proactive approach and the ability to bring energy to a rep team

Comfort with the administrative side of brand management, including ERP and B2B platforms. Experience with AIMS360 and NuORDER is an asset.

Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace, especially with Excel and Google Sheets. Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, and Canva are assets.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication

The ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines

Availability to travel within Canada and the US for trade shows and customer visits, including some weekend trade shows. A valid passport and the ability to cross the US border are required.
