Role Description The Human Resource & Project Resource Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This position coordinates HR activities such as recruitment support, onboarding, maintaining employee records, and assisting with performance and training processes. The role also supports project teams by tracking resource allocation, updating project schedules, and coordinating staffing needs to ensure efficient utilization of personnel across multiple projects. The Coordinator will liaise with project leaders and leadership to communicate updates, resolve resource conflicts, and support a positive, collaborative studio environment. Additional responsibilities may include organizing internal meetings, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of HR and project coordination practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess Human Resources (HR) skills, including basic knowledge of HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, and HR compliance.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret resource needs, analyze project data, and support decision-making related to staffing and workload distribution.
- Candidates should possess Resource Coordination skills to manage schedules, support resource planning, and facilitate communication between project teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills to build trust, foster collaboration, and support a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with team members, leadership, and external partners.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience in an architecture, design, or professional services environment, and familiarity with project management or HR software, is an asset.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
