This is an exciting opportunity to develop new business, build meaningful industry relationships, and represent a diverse portfolio of contract furniture and architectural wall solutions.
Working alongside an experienced team of designers, project managers, and industry specialists, you'll have the support and resources to deliver innovative workplace solutions while taking ownership of your business development efforts. For someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by the opportunity to grow their earnings, this role offers an excellent combination of autonomy, support, and long-term career growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Identify, develop, and grow new business opportunities across commercial, healthcare, education, and institutional markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, general contractors, facility managers, and end users.
- Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship development through presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
- Promote a portfolio of contract furniture and architectural wall systems, delivering solutions tailored to client and project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal design, project management, and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities while identifying upcoming projects and market activity.
- Stay informed on industry trends, workplace design innovations, and developments within the architecture and design community.
- 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within commercial furniture, architectural products, commercial interiors, or the construction industry.
- Experience developing new business and managing relationships with commercial or institutional clients.
- An established network within Winnipeg's architecture and design (A&D), construction, or commercial real estate community would be a strong asset.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to business development with the ability to manage opportunities independently.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events, with occasional additional travel as required.
- Competitive Base Salary: $65,000–$80,000, depending on experience.
- Uncapped Commissions: Opportunity to increase your earnings based on performance.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and additional employee benefits.
- Work-Life Balance: Paid vacation and personal days.
- Mileage Reimbursement: For approved business-related travel.
- Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced professionals in design, project management, and commercial interiors.
- Career Growth: Join an established organization with opportunities for continued professional development and long-term growth.
