Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications, you’ll lead key areas of DMCL’s content, communications, and marketing strategy while contributing to broader marketing and business development priorities. You’ll work directly with partners and subject-matter experts to turn complex accounting and tax topics into clear, engaging content that helps our clients make smarter decisions.
How you’ll make a difference
- You’ll lead DMCL’s content strategy and our client newsletter, Between the [Spread]Sheets, working
with our subject-matter experts to turn complex topics into clear, engaging content people actually
want to read. - You’ll manage DMCL’s inbound new business inquiries, assessing each opportunity, responding where
appropriate, and connecting viable leads with the right partner. - You’ll develop and lead integrated marketing and communications campaigns that support firm
priorities, strengthen our brand, and drive business development. - You’ll shape the strategy and messaging for key internal and external firm communications and
announcements. - You’ll be a relentless brand ambassador, championing DMCL’s brand and voice across every
touchpoint. - You’ll partner with the Director of Marketing and Communications on broader marketing and
business development priorities, bringing ideas, perspective, and strategy to the table. - You’ll mentor and support our Marketing Coordinator, providing guidance, feedback, and
opportunities to grow while helping maintain a high standard across the team.
Who you are
- You have 5–7 years of progressive marketing and communications experience.
- You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- You’re an exceptional writer and editor who can turn complex information into clear, relevant, and
engaging content. - You’re a confident relationship builder who can work effectively with senior professionals, provide
thoughtful editorial guidance, and adapt your approach to different stakeholders. - You’re a self-starter who can take ownership of projects, manage competing priorities, and keep
people moving toward deadlines.
What DMCL offers
- A comprehensive benefits package.
- An annual wellness allowance for mental and physical well-being.
- An annual discretionary performance bonus.
- Flexible work schedule with a standard 35-hour work week.
- Continued support for professional development.
- This position has a starting salary range of $75,000–$95,000 per year. The actual starting salary offered will
be based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range reflects the starting
