Responsibilities
Prepare and review engineering designs, structural detailing drawings, sketches, specifications, estimates, contracts, tenders, technical reports, and drawing packages. Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists, operate CAD and other software, and supervise and train drafting personnel.
Requirements
Requires a college or CEGEP education and 2 to less than 3 years of experience. The role calls for AutoCAD and Microsoft Office knowledge, construction and structural drafting expertise, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
