As a Senior Administrative Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide proactive administrative support to Assurance and Tax teams, acting as a key liaison for clients and helping deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread professional client communications, reports, proposals, and financial documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Prepare financial statements and support the successful delivery of year-end engagements through file administration, document preparation, CaseWare management, and tax filing coordination.
- Coordinate and manage client invoicing, billing administration, WIP reporting, and engagement-related documentation.
- Maintain client records and CRM systems, including new client and engagement setup and monitoring opportunities and leads.
- Manage CRA-related filings and correspondence, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clear communication with clients.
- Respond to and triage client inquiries, proactively following up on requests and supporting Partners and Managers with client communications.
- Coordinate client meetings, Partner calendars, internal events, professional development sessions, and other office activities.
- Track engagement deadlines, prepare PBC ( Prepared By Client ) requests, and support teams in ensuring timely completion of client work.
- Provide general administrative support, including expense processing, meeting coordination, and other duties as required.

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Senior Administrative Assistant? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
- 5+ years of administrative experience in a busy professional services environment.
- Experience supporting accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, or financial statement processes. Experience with CaseWare and TaxPrep is an asset.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a professional, client-focused approach to both written and verbal interactions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), producing polished and accurate client-ready work.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Experience with CRM systems and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset, along with a willingness to learn and continuously develop new skills.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods to meet client needs

you. We’re serious about compensation. We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors, and levels to ensure our ranges are both
competitive and current. But we don’t stop there. We also consider the
unique strengths, experiences, and impact each individual brings to the table. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors -
your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $50,000–$67,200 in Kamloops. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
