Web Solutions Architect

We’re seeking a Web Solutions Architect experienced in the planning, execution and delivery of enterprise-level technology solutions, bridging the gap between vision and execution and translating business requirements into strategic systems that drive ongoing business value. Working closely with content, design and development teams, you define functional specifications, oversee content management architecture, and prioritize feature roadmapping in close collaboration with our clients.

You are a deeply knowledgeable technologist equally at home explaining a feature to an executive audience and weighing the tradeoffs of a backend decision. You’re comfortable navigating complexity and driving projects forward in an agile environment. You seek to understand our clients’ business objectives and are able to translate that understanding into clear functional requirements. You have end-to-end experience with B2B enterprise-level websites and stay current with the latest technical innovations, from martech stack integrations to AI enablement.

Responsibilities:

• Drive client intake, business requirements, and technical discovery for new projects
• Coordinate intake with production teams to define the project scope, technical requirements and functional specifications
• Interpret business requirements, formulate considered solutions and clearly articulate the business value to a range of technical and executive stakeholders
• Liaise clearly and efficiently between clients, project managers, designers and developers
• Clearly articulate product features, functionality, and expected behaviours to all project stakeholders, internal and external
• Collaborate with clients to define user journeys
• Drive the product roadmap, including feature prioritization, backlog and release planning ensuring decisions align with business goals and deliver maximum value
• Oversee changes to scope and deliverables in collaboration with project managers and account directors
• Work closely with QA specialists to ensure excellence
• Define and communicate user acceptance criteria for completed work, ensuring deliverables meet specification requirements

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Web Solutions Architect or similar role
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of user-experience design patterns
• Possess deep knowledge of content architecture planning and modeling
• Hand-on experience with Wordpress, Contentful or similar content management systems

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00
