Role Description The Project Business Analyst is a full-time / Part-time. In this role, the individual will work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, document current and future business processes, and translate needs into clear specifications for technology solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting interviews and workshops, performing data and process analysis, preparing functional documentation, and supporting the implementation of automation and content management projects. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, technical teams, and end users to ensure solutions are delivered on time, align with business objectives, and provide measurable value. The Project Business Analyst will monitor project progress, contribute to testing activities, and help drive continuous improvement across client engagements.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Business analysis experience, including gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and present findings clearly.
Knowledge of business processes, particularly in finance, operations, or workflow automation, and the ability to map and optimize these processes.
Understanding of business requirements management, including prioritization, change control, and traceability.
Experience working on technology implementation projects, ideally related to automation, enterprise content management, or similar solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Toronto, ON, and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
Familiarity with project management practices and tools; exposure to Agile or hybrid methodologies is an asset.
