As a Banquet Server, you will play an integral role in creating memorable dining experiences for our members and their guests. You’ll work in a beautiful, private club setting, enjoy a supportive and professional work environment, and have the opportunity to expand your hospitality skills at one of Toronto’s most prestigious clubs.

What You’ll be doing:

• Provide exceptional service by greeting and serving members courteously, professionally, and timely.
• Set up and maintain dining and banquet areas, ensuring tables are clean, polished, and ready for service.
• Perform Banquet Server duties including serving Hors d'oeuvre, serving beverages and food, and clearing tables. 
• Work collaboratively with other Banquet Servers, Banquet Manager/Captain, Kitchen and Bar team to deliver a seamless dining experience throughout the function.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and alcohol service (Smart Serve required).
• Handle member inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

What We’re Looking For:

• Hospitality Enthusiasts: Passionate about food, beverage, and delivering first-class service.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a restaurant/banquet or hospitality environment.
• Education: High school diploma is required; post-secondary education in hospitality is an asset.
• Smart Serve Certified: Required before employment.
• Wine & Beverage Knowledge: Understanding of wine service is a plus!
• Team Player: Works well in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible Schedule: Available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• POS Knowledge: Familiarity with JONAS POS system is an asset.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.

Compensation: The expected compensation range for this role is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour. Placement within the range will be based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and internal equity considerations.
